Morgan Gould went under the knife on Wednesday following a torn Achilles tendon injury he suffered at training prior to the Absa Premiership fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Head Coach Stuart Baxter, who regards Morgan as a ‘Warrior’, said that the ‘no nonsense’ defender could be sidelined for up to 6 months.
“Morgan had surgery last Wednesday to repair his torn Achilles tendon. The doctor was happy with the repair. The normal recovery time is 6 months for this type of injury,” revealed Team Physio, Dave Milner.
The entire Kaizer Chiefs family wanted to once more wish Morgan Gould a speedy recovery from his injury.
