Itumeleng Khune was charged with displaying a religious slogan under his shirt during Chief’s fixture against Orlando Pirates on 26 October 2013.



The club was charged with bringing the League into disrepute. Both parties pleaded guilty and the player and club were each fined R25 000.00, suspended for 12 months.



The player was also ordered to furnish a written apology. Khune and Kaizer Chiefs were ordered to pay the costs of the sitting.



Meanwhile, Morgan Gould will appear before the Psl Disciplinary Committee on Tuesday, 26 November 2013. The charge relates to the League match played at FNB Stadium, on 09 November 2013 between Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits, the player unlawfully struck an opposing player of Bidvest Wits, Getaneh Kebede in the face. The player has been charged with assaulting an opposing player.



Gould has apologised to the Club and all affected parties. Subsequently, the Club has instituted internal processes in this regard.
