Amakhosi assistant coach Frank Eullberg and goalkeeper Rowen Fernandez shared a few words with Springbok’s and Bulls rugby star Brian Habana as Chiefs arrived for a crucial PSL clash against fellow title contenders Mamelodi Sundowns. The Bulls had just ended an energy sapping training session on a practise field adjacent to Loftus Versveld in Pretoria, Chiefs will be hoping for more of the heroics which helped them see off the Brazilians a week ago at the FNB Stadium.

Ernst Middendorp has made four changes to the Chiefs team that defeated Dynamos on Saturday with Patrick Mayo and Siphiwe Mkhonza taking the places of Jimmy Tau and Derrick Spencer at the back. Zimbabwean international Tinashe Nengomasha returns after serving a one match suspension he takes the place of Gert Schalkwyk in midfield, the highly effective Louis Agyemang takes the place of Songwe Chalwe up front.

The Brazilians too have made changes to their starting eleven out goes the injured Rafael Dudamel he has been replaced by Andre Arendse and the former Ajax Cape Town players Dillon Sheppard makes his return to the PSL after a stint in Russia to make his debut for Sundowns. Sheppard replaces former Kaizer Chiefs player Jabulani Mendu in the Sundowns starting eleven.

The stage is set once again for Chiefs to stake three more points and build up a lead between themselves and the chasing pack at the top of the PSL.
