The Club’s Most Improved Player of the 2011-2012 Season Lucky ‘Sheriff’ Baloyi says he is going to work even harder next season following what was a good season for the Limpopo-born midfielder.

Baloyi walked away with the Most Improved Player of the Season during the Club’s Players’ Awards ceremony in May and he was unlucky to miss out on the PSL Young Player of the of the Year award during the Premier Soccer League Awards in the same month.

“I tried my best to break through this season. I had some pretty good games; I would like to take this opportunity to thank the technical team and my teammates for the support I received from them.

“I am looking forward to the new season and I am going to work even harder to improve my game so that I can set new standards for myself,” said Baloyi, who made his debut against Mamelodi Sundowns in 2010-2011 season.

“When the past season started I lacked a bit of confidence. I used to get scared a lot. When we played I used to lose lot of balls during matches and I used to play the ball backwards instead of forward a lot of time. But now I can cool down the game, I can take shots at goal and I play the ball forward.

“I will spend some quality time with my family in Limpopo. I will continue to do some gym work so that I return in top notch condition for the new season,” added Baloyi.
