Talking to kaizerchiefs.com on Wednesday morning ahead of the crunch fixture against ‘Students’ as Bidvest Wits University is affectionately known, he believes that he has a lot to offer for this Club.
“I can do more, that I know,” he said with a smile.
“I played 90 minutes on Sunday for the first time in a very long time. It was good to score my first goal early in the season. I was happy with the goal but very disappointed with the result that saw us being kicked out of the MTN8.”
The Glamour Boys welcome Bidvest Wits University at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday evening and Torrealba and his teammates will be looking forward to the game. Chiefs has played drawn one and lost one game in the two games they have played this seasons.
“It is important that we start collecting points early in the season. Last year we dropped points early in the season and that cost us towards the end of the season. Bidvest is a very tough side to play with but we are looking forward to the game and hopefully we can come back with maximum points,” he said with confidence.
Torrealba who is currently wearing no. 77 jersey made famous by former Public Relations Officer Louis “Sprinter” Tshoakane said he welcomes criticism from Club supporters who feel he has not done enough since joining the side at the beginning of last season.
“I respect the supporter’s opinion. I do not take criticism negatively but as a motivation to work harder on my game and help the team achieve its goals,” he concluded.
