Tefu Mashamaite has vowed that he and his teammates will be ready to tackle the season that lies ahead. ‘Masha’ told kaizerchiefs.com that he is getting back to full fitness after suffering an ankle injury during the last training session of the past season.
How do you feel to be back?
“I am happy to be back at work but I didn’t stop working because I went into the break with an ankle problem. I didn’t have a chance to rest as I was undergoing rehabilitation and working out three days a week.” said ‘Masha’.
Take us through the process of your rehabilitation?
“I couldn’t do anything else during the offseason as I wanted to recover and be ready for the start of the season. I was doing two training sessions a day. I am getting my fitness level ready. At the moment I am part of a collective preparations and we are plotting our road map on how we are going to compete for the honours this time,” said “Masha’.
How do you forecast the season?
“There is nothing new, we are working hard to be ready to contest for all competitions as that’s the only way our success will be measured. As players we have been talking about a collective effort. I can’t divulge on my personal goals, but all our individual goals are aligned with the Team goals. We all want to achieve and make our mark in the Chiefs journey,” said ‘Masha’.
‘Masha’ appeared in 40 games last season and scored 4 goals in the process.
