Kaizer Chiefs striker, Jose Torrealba has expressed his delight after finishing 90 minutes on Saturday without pain. The Venezuelan had been struggling with a back injury since last year and was forced to watch from sidelines for five weeks.

On Saturday night, he was without a doubt one of the best players on the pitch and was involved in both build-ups first for Siphiwe Tshabalala’s opener and a winner by Kaizer Motaung Jr. Celtic’s defence also struggled to deal with his dangerous runs on the night.

“I can’t describe how I felt after the game. I felt like a young boy, a child. It was good to play without pain for 90 minutes and won the game,” he told kaizerchiefs.com ahead of Tuesday training session at Club headquarters in Naturena.

“It was bad for me to watch my teammates on the sidelines. I wanted to be back and when I returned to training last week it was fun. The guys have been doing well from the day we beat Sundowns in the year opener,”

“On Saturday I badly wanted to score as I was playing in one of my favourite pitches, Super Stadium. The team is more important though as we managed to take home maximum points,” said Torrealba.

“We now have to keep on improving, focus and anything is possible. It is important that we stay in the top three and take it one game at a time,” he concluded.

Torrealba who has scored a total of four goals this season said he was looking forward in adding to his tally.
