Khune - a product of Kaizer Chiefs development - made his first appearance for the Glamour Boys in the Charity Cup and came close to opening his account but could not control his header.
“The coaches have been talking a lot to me about my finishing and it is one of the areas I definitely have to improve on,” said the young striker speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Monday.
“It has been a good experience for me to be part of the senior team. I am learning something new every day not only from the coaching department but also by watching other strikers at training. The way they position themselves, finishing and protecting the ball,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lucky has backed his brother, Itumeleng Khune to bounce back from an injury that will see him watching from the sidelines for the next twelve weeks.
“He is a strong guy - I have no doubt that he is going to bounce back. He took it too hard but then again he understands that these things happen in football. I have been helping him out at home as he is struggling to do things on his own,” he added.
