Keegan ‘Micasa’ Ritchie has reiterated his desire to win trophies with the Glamour Boys ahead of the trip to Durban to honour a meeting against high flying Golden Arrows.
The Glamour Boys visit Golden Arrows at Moses Mabhida Stadium with kick off for the game billed for 19:30. They will be hoping to consolidate their position on the Absa Premiership table after returning to winning ways against Bloemfontein Celtic a week ago.
“We are still in contention for both the league and Nedbank Cup but we will take it one game at a time and now our focus is on Arrows,” Ritchie affectionately known to kaizerchiefs.com as ‘Micasa’ said on Wednesday morning.
“If you look at our games, we have not done that badly. There is still couple of games to play and for us the most important thing is to keep in touch with our fellow contenders which make us very much in contention to win the title,” said the former Moroka Swallows player speaking in the latest edition of Amakhosi magazine currently on the shelves.
“Days differ and matches do, on some games the guys might not be the same as they were on a particular day and sometimes luck deserts us and there is nothing we can do about that.
“I will continue working hard and do my best for the team whenever I am playing because I want to see the team winning trophies and me being part of that,” added Ritchie.
Also featuring in the latest issue of Amakhosi magazine is an exclusive interview with Mandla ‘Bullet’ Masango, a tribute to the late Thabang ‘Banda’ Lebese including legend and current development coach, Ntsie Maphike.
