‘Kaka’ as the young Khune is known in football circles, was promoted to the first team at the beginning of last season and made his debut against Mpumalanga Black Aces in February this year. He went on to make his second appearances against FC Cape Town during the Nedbank Cup

“Last season was an eye opener for me and I learnt a lot from the Technical Team and my teammates,” he said on Tuesday morning following a two-hour training session.

“I am determined to fight for a place in the team this season. The aim is to be in the starting line up or even if I can start on the bench but it is important to play a part in the team this season,” he said.
