Brilliant Khuzwayo has fractured a bone in his ankle.
The medical team reports that the goalkeeper got injured during Amakhosi’s victory in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 encounter against Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town a fortnight ago.
Kaizer Chiefs won the cup match 3-0 with Khuzwayo recording a clean sheet in goal.
“Brilliant will undergo surgery on Friday,” team physiotherapist Dave Milner confirms.
As a result of this, Khuzwayo will most likely miss Amakhosi's next fixture.
