Martin Mogale was all smiles as he left the Kaizer Chiefs Village driving in style after winning a brand new Nissan Juke courtesy of Nissan and Kaizer Chiefs.

Mogale (23) like thousands of Amakhosi faithful entered the Nissan Player of the Quarter competition that started in October 2011 to June 2012.

The ceremony was attended by the Management, Players and staff members and the previous winners of the car, Lehlohonolo ‘Major’ Majoro and Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala did the honours presenting the visibly elated winner with the keys for a brand new Nissan Juke.

“It still feels more like a dream,” Mogale who hails from Alexandra told kaizerchiefs.com as he revved to the car to the delight of the players.

“It pays to support Kaizer Chiefs and I would like to thank the Club together with Nissan for providing us as supporters an opportunity to win such a wonderful prize. This is an early Xmas present for me and I am very happy.

“I am happy to meet everyone here having supported the Club since birth. Besides winning the car here I am excited to have met the Club Chairman, Mr Kaizer Motaung. He is not only my role model but my father too who told me all the wonderful stories about his playing days and how he built this institution.

“Kaizer Chiefs has evolved as a brand and it is the reason that it keeps on attracting different generations of supporters. I am delighted to see the team also playing well and this is going to be our season to win the league,” added Mogale.

Responsible for Events & Sponsorships for Nissan South Africa, Amanda Howie said she was satisfied with how the campaign went.

“We wanted the Kaizer Chiefs faithful to familiarise themselves with Nissan and that this is a car that drives Amakhosi and we are extremely happy in the manner the fans responded to the initiative.

“We always look for ways to be innovative and reward our customers. Our partnership with Kaizer Chiefs has given us an opportunity through their loyal support to achieve our objectives,” concluded Amanda.

Marketing Director Jessica Motaung commented; “The initiative brought all different elements together; the players, the supporters and media platforms. It was such a successful initiative which also solidified our relationship with partners, Nissan.

“We were excited that the competition also incentivised both the players and our loyal supporters. Nissan Juke being an environmentally friendly car gave us an opportunity to highlight the Club’s commitment towards social responsibility and Building a Global Green Society. I would like to congratulate Martin on his new wheels. He is very passionate about the Club and we are all delighted,” added Motaung.
