"We expect a tough game," expresses Reneilwe 'Yeye' Letsholonyane at the MTN8 Cup quarterfinal Press Conference held at the PSL headquarters on Monday afternoon.

"We preparing to play against a tough team," comments Yeye. Chiefs will hope to pave their way to their title defense by beating a hard to beat Maritzburg United. "We will be ready on Wednesday." The battle lines are drawn and there's never a dull moment when Chiefs meet Maritzburg.

"It is important to win the first matches," enthuses Yeye. "We want to retain the trophy."

"It has been a good time so far with the new coach," refers Yeye who was in dizzying heights on Saturday with a box-to-box performance which resulted with a well-polished goal in the Carling Black Label Cup. "We are working well with him (Steve Komphela)."

About the pressure of winning, "As a Chiefs player it comes natural. We have to win.

Our aim is to win as much as many games as possible."

"From the players’ point of view, we will do things the way the coach requests," promises Yeye.

"We've done our preparation with the coach," confirms Yeye. "By the time of the game we will be ready."

With Komphela facing his former employers, "We have a psychological edge with their former coach on our side. But, all will depend on us and on how we play and want to win the match."

Coming from a successful season, "We always want to achieve. If you set a standard you want to keep the standard and improve," responds Yeye. "We want to win and set new records."

Following Saturday performances, "My strength comes from God. I'm in a happy space right now. My teammates support me as well."

The smart goal on Saturday, "I scored a similar goal when I joined Chiefs. Pressure motivates us always. My goal on Saturday was a result of teamwork," adds Yeye.

"I think Maritzburg are good opponents," concluded Yeye. "We just have to prepare well for them."
