Bernard Parker said Kaizer Chiefs will be ready to tackle Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby this Saturday.

The current PSL leading goal scorer was upbeat when he expressed his views ahead of the epic fixture,

"It's a big game and no doubt this must be a Kaizer Chiefs Derby. We owe it to our supporters. I can say upfront that we will make it a Derby of goals. We will try as much as possible to win this game," said Parker.

"We must have it in our frame of mind that this is another important game. We will not put ourselves under any undue pressure. We are all professionals enough to bounce from the midweek loss in Rustenburg," said Parker. Chiefs lost 2 - 0 against Platinum Stars on Wednesday.

"We have to make up for the midweek loss. Pirates haven't been consistent this season. Pirates have a new Coach and their players are still adapting to his tactics. Hopefully we can pounce while they are still adapting," said Park.

"We are a transformed team this time. Coach Vladimir Vermezovic might know some of the players but he will not know the current Chiefs' way of playing," said Parker. Parker was referring to Pirates' Coach Vladimir Vermezovic as a former Kaizer Chiefs Coach.
