Kaizer Chiefs vs MP Black Aces

FNB Stadium

Wednesday 09 April 2014

Bernard 'Hond' Parker has vowed to return to his scoring ways when Chiefs welcome Aces on Wednesday evening at FNB Stadium.

Following the loss in their past game against Sundowns,

"It was a smash and grab from Sundowns. We are still in top of the log though and with an added advantage of a game at hand. The loss gave us a chance to realise we have to be on our front foot. Sundowns showed they want to take the league and we can't let them do that. We took a knock but we will make sure we win all our remaining games,"

Chiefs beat Aces in the first game of the 2013/14 Psl season. Parker scored the solitary goal of the game at Mbombela Stadium,

"Aces are a strong Team. They have assembled a strong team of good quality players and they showed that in their recent games. They picked up momentum and they are capable of causing damage if we don't up our game,"

'Hond' has banged in 10 league games this season and is leading in the race for the top goal scorer award,

"I try to stay fresh as much as possible. I also want to be injury free. My focus is in the Team not personal glory. I just need to be wiser in the scoring positions. We are working as a Team and we will get our scoring form back,"

The supporters and the race towards the end of the league,

"When the supporters stand behind us we gain advantage over our opponents. We are encouraged by the numbers that have been coming to our games. We will continue to work hard and win games to make them happy," added Parker

Kaizer Chiefs Supporters Club will be at gate K, Turnstile 18 from 17:00. The Supporters will be able to apply and renew their Club Membership Cards and buy Kaizer Chiefs authentic merchandise. Some of the Kaizer Chiefs Management will be available to interact with the Supporters.

Tickets for the mouth-watering clash are on sale at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers at a cost of R40 for adults and R10 for children accompanied by adults.

Kick-off is at 19:30 and gates will be opened at 16:30.
