Striker, Kingston Nkhatha told kaizerchiefs.com that as a Team they knew what to expect ahead of the Absa Premiership fixture against Bloemfontein Celtic on Tuesday evening.
Chiefs looking determined gave their all but could not finish the chances they had created.
"We knew it was always going to be a challenge to come here and win for the third time in a row," said Nkhatha.
Chiefs beat Celtic at the same stadium in March and April this year to go on and win the cup and league double in 2012-13 PSL season.
"Things did not go our way this evening and the pitch did not help as the ball was bouncing all over the place.
We are not dropping our heads yet, we know that we have to go back to the drawing board and work on our shortfalls.
Everything starts at training, and together with our Technical Team we will work around the clock to make sure we are ready to return to winning ways when we welcome Platinum Stars at FNB Stadium on Saturday," added Nkhatha.
