The time for the biggest and most sought after PSL fixture is upon us. Logistics are of utmost important for staging a successful event and the supporters are advised to observe all protocols. The Absa Premiership clash between Soweto arch-rivals Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs is taking place at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 29 October (kick-off is at 15:30).



Times:



The gates will open at 11:30. Despite catching the match vibe early around the stadium precinct, there will be curtain raisers played between Orlando Pirates Legends and Kaizer Chiefs Legends. Kick-off for this game is at 12:30. At 13:30 the stadium precinct roads will be closed. For VIP Ticket holders, suites will open at 13:30.



Parking:



Parking is always a challenge due to the supporters arriving at the stadium at the same time towards the kick-off time. Please buy parking tickets at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers. Tickets are available for general parking R40, exclusive parking R80, premium parking R120 and bus parking R300.

NO PUBLIC PARKING AT THE SOWETO DERBY and strictly no parking tickets will be sold on site on the day of the match.



JMDP has initiated more stringent measures to regulate parking management systems at the FNB Stadium for this mouth-watering encounter.



Public transportation will be the main form of transport to the FNB Stadium, special transport will ferry supporters to the stadium: Rea Vaya, Metrorail, TOP 6 TAXIS and KTK MINI BUS SHUTTLES.

Recommended Routes to Stadium,


The VIP & Hospitality ticket holders from the North are recommended to approach the Stadium from the North via the N17 (access off the N1 North). The VIP & Hospitality from the South are advised to use the Soweto Highway (access off the N1 South) and from the East via Rand Show Road (access off the N12 South).
