Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Josta Dladla is upbeat ahead of Chiefs upcoming Absa Premiership clash with BIDVest WITS on Saturday evening, the Amakhosi number nine is focusing his energy on returning from the game with three points.

According to Dladla Chiefs are aware that they face a very tough and what could be a physically challenging game against Wits at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, but he does believe that they can end their recent two game losing streak.

“It is obvious that we not happy with having lost two games in the league on the trott, we have to turn things around and the best time to start would be with a win against Wits on Saturday.

They always a difficult team to play against and like us they have not won in their last couple of games, which means that neither team will we wanting to sit back as we are both looking for a win.”

Dladla is not taking Wits for granted despite them having lost one drawn two and won one of their last four games, their last league win was over current league leaders Sundowns on the 14th of November.

As he said “Wits are the perfect example and prove that in the league there is no such a thing as a small team, they recorded a win over Sundowns who are in front on the table and that shows that we going to have a lot to do to break them down.”

What Dladla would also like is for Chiefs once they have breached the opposition defence is to make the opportunities that come their way count, “if we work for each other as we have been in the last couple of games we will be able to dominate the match and get ourselves into the opposition penalty box.

What is important is that when we do get in good goal scoring positions we score. I know that Wits have conceded a number of goals in their last two games but that means very little to us, like is said when we it comes to us we need to convert our chances.

We know we have to start winning again if we lose games we only make our own lives difficult.”
