Amakhosi are looking forward to many great things this month of July with the main event scheduled for 17 July in Morocco when the team takes part in their first-ever CAF Champions League final against defending champions, Al Ahly. We also will also hear announcements of new players ahead of the new season. But there’s always something else to look forward to at the start of every month, which is the latest episode of their favourite television show, which will air from this evening at 20:00 on DStv Channel 202.
On the menu for this month’s episode of the KCTV show, our series that looks at our remarkable CAF Champions League journey continues. After starting back in November in November, we look at our semifinal activity and some behind the scenes in Morocco where Chiefs beat Wydad Casablanca to advance to the finals of Africa’s prestigious club competition.
In the previous episode, we saw our players walk away with vehicles in the Player That Has It All segment, but this month we are excited to showcase a supporter get their hands on keys to a cool and revamped Kentucky Rounder vehicle courtesy of Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom. After months of running the Kentucky Rounder (Toyota Corolla Twincam) competition, the handover of the much sought-after vehicle took place in June at Vodacom’s headquarters in Midrand. The Vodacom’s Sinkonke Siyawina competition saw one of our supporters from Mahikeng in the North West drive away is this cool and modernized car. We speak to the winner and see their reaction as the key is handed over to them.
As we keep profiling our players and getting to know them better, we speak to Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya in our segment known as my First Paycheck. The player will share with us what he did with his first salary and share some sound financial advice to fellow teammates.
We also do our Player profile with Zimbabwean-born attacker Khama Billiat. We get to know the player better as he shares some information we may not have known about him. The diminutive marksman also shares his football journey over the last decade.
Catch the KCTV show and enjoy all the great content of South Africa’s leading sport & lifestyle show on PSL Channel on SuperSport 2, DStv channel 202 this evening at 20:00. There will be repeats as the month goes.
