August is a month of women and Kaizer Chiefs would like to take this opportunity to embrace and celebrate the month with the women of our communities.

Kaizer Chiefs will be visiting the Fezile Dabi Municipality on Women’s Day, 09 August 2011, to commemorate the day with the organisers of the event, which is Kaizer Chiefs’ Sasolburg Branch. The event will be held at Lerato Hall and will start at 10h00. There will be guest speakers on the day including delegates from other Branches: Parys, Koppies, Heilbron, Refengkgotso, Orangeville, Bophelong, Sharpville, Boipatong. The Kaizer Chiefs Head Office will be represented by the Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung and the Marketing Team.

Various activities will be put together for the month of August that will focus mainly on these issues; Health, Abuse, Education and Employment. The aim will be to educate the women about issues such as keeping healthy through exercising and to be wary of diseases such as Cancer which many tend to ignore. A critical topic to be discussed will be abuse in their homes, be it domestic abuse or sexual abuse as many cases go unreported.

Kaizer Chiefs would like to encourage all the Men and Women to play a part, whether big or small, in their communities to make a difference in the lives of women as their challenges have since evolved from 1956.

“As we celebrate Women’s Day, we look forward to touching the lives of all women across the country, beginning with Sasolburg and inspiring them to RISE!” said Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung
