Theo (14 Years) and Pele’s (15 years) dreams came true when they visited the Kaizer Chiefs Village on Tuesday 09 September. Both their dreams were to meet the Kaizer Chiefs players especially Siphiwe Tshabalala and to play soccer with them.
Adele Hattingh, the Dream Coordinator from the Reach For A Dream Johannesburg Branch facilitated the process that saw some amazing smiles on the boys’ faces.
The boys accompanied by a parent each and Adele got a chance to watch training. After training the Head Coach, Stuart Baxter, greeted them and introduced Siphiwe Tshabalala who in turn introduced the boys to the whole team. Tshabalala then took time to play a bit of soccer with the boys before signing their jerseys and taking pictures with them.
The boys were taken on a mini tour at the Village where they got to see the trophy cabinet and also get their jerseys printed at the KC Retail Store.
Reach For A Dream is a foundation that fulfils the dreams of children faced with life-threatening illnesses.
We hope that Kaizer Chiefs has helped spread the Love & Peace by making their dreams come true!
Inspiring Greatness!
