The Executive Chairman was at hand to cut the cake as everyone sang, “Happy Birthday Kaizer Chiefs”, “This is a day where we pay tribute to the Club’s founding fathers. Some are still around but some are unfortunately no longer with us. I am fortunate to have been around from the planning of this ‘baby’ and have had to watch it grow over the years,” said Motaung.

“We also owe it to the people who supported us through and through from day one. The Club continues to put smiles on the face of millions of people in this country. It is our wish to grow from strength to strength to become a brand on top of mind that people in the world can identify with” continued Motaung SR who earned himself a nickname “Chincha Guluva” during his playing days.

“I want to pay a special tribute to Executive Chairman, Mr. Motaung for his leadership and vision.
