Josta Dladla insisted in an interview with kaizerchiefs.com on Thursday afternoon that the team comes first.

Dladla who has more than a decade of experience playing top-flight football is expected to play a huge role on Sunday when Amakhosi host rivals Orlando Pirates in a potential explosive MTN semi final fixture to be played on Sunday, 26 September 2010.

“It is most important for me to help the team win, than scoring a goal on Sunday,” said Dladla who made his debut for Amakhosi against Moroka Swallows back in February 2009.

“I treat every game as the same and there is no reason for me to put pressure on myself. I am going to play my game and hopefully help my teammates. All games are important and I do not have big and small games,” continued Dladla.

Josta found himself starting the season on a low as the coach played the likes of Mandla Masango, Mthokozisi Yende and Siphiwe Tshabalala ahead him in the middle. He was given a start though in the win against Celtic last Saturday where he showed glimpses of why the Club snatched his signature in January last year.

“I obviously started the season on a low and it was good to start against Celtic. It was a bit difficult but I am glad that I played the entire game and we came back with maximum points. That game though is water under the bridge and we are all now focusing on the game on Sunday against Orlando Pirates. The spirit in the dressing is very high and all we want is to continue with the Club tradition to win trophies,” added Dladla.
