Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Mr. Bobby Motaung has dismissed media speculation on the rumoured review of the head coach’s employment contract. This follows recent reports in the media about Muhsin Ertugral’s future at Kaizer Chiefs.

“These reports are to us a mere campaign to destabilize our preparations during this crucial stage of the season”, these were the words of Bobby Motaung following a management meeting held on Tuesday morning.

“The focus for us is the job at hand, the league and the Nedbank Cup. The team is six points behind the log leaders, SuperSport United and we are playing in the crucial Nedbank Last 16 against University of Pretoria this weekend.

No discussions have taken place regarding the review of the Technical Team and players’ contracts. This process remains internal and we will follow due procedure in dealing with such matters.

At this stage, I would like to urge the Amakhosi faithful to remain united and rally behind the team. Their support remains crucial in our collective effort to achieve our goals amongst which is to lift the Absa Premiership and the Nedbank Cup,” he concluded
