“Our social media presence is important for us at Kaizer Chiefs, as we have supporters not only in South Africa, but across the continent and overseas as well. Its is key for us to be able to hear their voices, get a sense of how they are feeling about Club issues and matters and to also make sure that they are informed about their Club. We have done some great things on our social media platforms with the aim of maximizing on our online properties and presence.

We are looking to the future and we want to take our supporters with us. I would like to thank our Amakhosi Family for being there with us along the way. Thank you for spreading the word and thank you for your dedication to this brand, you are Champions!”

This success is due largely to an active and robust Social Media team, great Club content and a high engagement policy that allows supporters to feel like they are part of the brand.

The Club is pushing to grow its other online properties with its Twitter and Instagram accounts growing each day. While these numbers may be conservative in relation to its real support base, the Club is working hard to continue to speak to a youth market and maintain access to its long-standing supporters.
