Amakhosi fans in Pretoria and surrounding areas can look forward to the opening of a brand new Kaizer Chiefs Retail store at the Tramshed Shopping Centre, a historical landmark in the Pretoria central district from Thursday, 14 January 2016.
Followers of South Africa’s most successful football Club will be able to get their hands on a variety of exclusive items that are only available at the Club’s official retail stores, and also include the new 2015/16 home and away jerseys.
“The tremendous support we have received from our loyal fan base at our retail store at the Village and the pop up store we had at Vodacom World until December 2015 is most inspiring. The initial success has been promising enough to give us the confidence to extend our presence into other areas and we are excited to be taking the next phase of our progression to Pretoria, where we can be closer to our followers on a more localised level,” says Amakhosi’s Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung. “The stores are unique in that they carry a selection of limited stock and special offers that are exclusive to Kaizer Chiefs retail.”
The move is part of Chiefs’ retail expansion strategy, aimed at engaging directly with their fans to offer them some great deals on merchandise, and follows hot on the heels of the successful Kaizer Chiefs Pop Up store at Vodacom World in Midrand which ran from August to December 2015.
“We will have a full range of merchandise in store - from boots to balls, jerseys, tracksuits as well as Kaizer Chiefs Mobile starter pack, RICA facility, airtime sales and our supporters will be able to access Kaizer Chiefs Insurance products and services. It’s a full Kaizer Chiefs experience,” adds Jessica.
The mantra for the new store which is located on the corner Lilian Ngoyi and Francis Baard on the ground floor is ‘Kaizer Chiefs Experience, your home from home in Tshwane.’
The original Kaizer Chiefs Retail store is located within the Club’s headquarters at Naturena and fans are encouraged to visit the stores for a unique Amakhosi experience.
