Kaizer Chiefs U17 was crowned as champions of Platinum Stars Tournament on Saturday after beating their counterparts, Bidvest Wits 4-2 on penalties.
The match failed to produce any goal during the allocated time and then it was left to be decided on penalties.
The U17 under the tutelage of former Kaizer Chiefs maestro, Doctor Khumalo were without a doubt the best team of the tournament having scored a total of 21 goals and conceding none. Young striker, Pule Matlong was a leading goalscorer with 9 goals.
