Kaizer Chiefs and their main sponsor Vodacom will stage two Roadshows concurrently this Friday. The Roadshows are a build-up to the much anticipated big Absa Premiership match featuring Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns taking place this Saturday, January 9. The highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place at the FNB Stadium under the floodlights at 20:15. Tickets for the match are flying off the Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers at R40 for stands and R30 for parking.

According to Tracy Williams, the Supporters Relationship Manager – Branches, Retail, Supporters, “We are opening the year with a double,” she enthuses with a glowing face, highly motivated and Driven to Excel. “This been part of a build up to the big match on weekend, we are setting our feet on both sides. Sundowns hail from Tshwane where we command a huge support and Chiefs was born today in Soweto back in 1970,” she paused before she continued. “I wish a happy birthday to Amakhosi at large and thank everyone for their continued support for this magnificent Club.”

The Roadshows will happen on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Soweto at Maponya Mall (near the elephant sculpture) and simultaneously in Mamelodi at Denlyn Mall, Denneboom. Both Roadshows will run simultaneously from 12:00 to 17:00.

“We answered a call from our supporters to stage a Roadshow in Mamelodi ahead of the match against Sundowns,” continued Williams. “And we obliged but we couldn’t afford to forget our supporters in Soweto therefore we are throwing a double candy.”

Williams announced there will be fun and games with entertaining MC conducting proceedings from the erected Gig Rig. “We are bringing fun and services closer to the people,” says Williams referring to the offerings ranging from the ever sought after KC Mobile; Vodacom products; KC Insurance; KC Retail.

“This is the year of the new,” she concludes. “We have good and positive plans in place this year and new ways of interacting with our supporters.”
