Midfielder, Willard Katsande who is suspended for Wednesday evening encounter against Golden Arrows believes that his teammates will do all they can to bring maximum points back to Naturena when they square up at Moses Mabhida on Wednesday evening.

Katsande received his third caution during a win against Bloemfontein Celtic joining Siphiwe Tshabalala on the ‘suspension list’. Both players will be available for selection this coming weekend when the Glamour Boys travel to Polokwane to face Black Leopards in the Nedbank Cup.

“I am disappointed that I will not be in Durban to fight it out with the boys on the pitch. I felt like I was improving with each game and my level of fitness was improving nicely. Then again it is part of football to get suspended.

“Even though I am not down in Durban with my teammates, I am with them in spirit and I know that they are ready for the game. It is important for us to bring back three points to Naturena to climb the Absa Premiership table,” continued the player affectionately known to kaizerchiefs.com ‘Cheese & Onion’.

Katsande also revealed that his teammates will be motivated to beat Golden Arrows who handed them their first league defeat of the season at Peter Mokaba early this season.

“They beat us early this season and it is now payback time. It is important that we put maximum effort in each and every game to be counted at the end of the season. We have a balanced team with both experience and young players and we believe that this can still be our season,” added Katsande.
