Ahead of Wednesday’s match against Baroka FC in Durban, KC DigiStore delivered on its promise to make one online shopper’s dream come true by having their order delivered to their doorstep by a Kaizer Chiefs first team player.

Devoted Amakhosi supporter Kabelo Mokwena, a strategist at TWBA advertising agency in Durban, was thrilled to meet defender Kgotso Moleko, who delivered the 2014/15 home jersey purchased on www.kcdigistore.com.

Mokwena, who has been living in Durban since 2010, was born in Klerksdorp before he moved to Bloemfontein. He was happy to learn that Moleko is his ‘homeboy’, because of the City of Roses (Bloemfontein) connection they both share.

“Words cannot explain how honoured and grateful I am to have been afforded this opportunity to meet one of my favourite players as well as some of the marketing team,” Mokwena reacted after having received his delivery order from Moleko.

To add to the surprise, Mokwena was presented with two VIP suite tickets to watch the Glamour Boys in action against Baroka in Amakhosi’s second league home game in Durban this season.

When Moleko quizzed Mokwena about the challenges of shopping online, the latter explained that the KC DigiStore process is safe and seamless. Mokwena actually feels that Chiefs’ online store is one of the easiest to navigate through and he promises to shop more often as soon as more items are added to the store.

“It is always gratifying to witness a beaming smile on someone’s face when the club they love so much does something that’s so special,” commented Moleko, who wasn’t in the final match day squad yesterday. “Kabelo was genuinely thrilled and it is up to us to ensure that we win our matches and make sure that he continues to be a happy Khosi.”

“I truly enjoyed watching Mokwena and his friend cheer the team on against Baroka at Moses Mabhida, thanks to those presidential suite tickets they got,” concluded Amakhosi’s right-back.
