Kaizer Chiefs will start the new year with a surprise proposed transfer of two of its key players. Siphiwe Tshabalala and Itumeleng Khune have been invited for trials with Second Division English team, Crystal Palace in January 2012.

Local soccer circles have been abuzz with rumors of possible local transfers of both players, while the English football side have had their eye on both players and have put the request to Football Manager, Bobby Motaung during this 'window period'. Both the National team players have been invited for a ten day trial with the Club to further assess them and their adaptability to the side's playing style.

Kaizer Chiefs has responded positively to the invite and will release both players as requested. The Club has however communicated to Crystal Palace Management that the No 1 goalkeeper and Kaizer Chiefs captain will however only be able to attend trials in February due to his recovery to an injury. Tshabalala will however attend his ten day trials in January.

Kaizer Chiefs would like to wish both players all the best as they embark on their International journey.
