While the country welcomes the new cabinet announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa, the team and the rest of the football fraternity in South Africa are busy with their pre-season preparations, and Kaizer Chiefs’ monthly magazine show is here to keep supporters in the loop and entertained with a new episode this month of July.

There are a number of interesting features that will appear on the show, with the crew looking at some of the content that took place before the season ended and during the post-season break.

One of the popular events in our country during the month of June is the Kasi games which take place within our communities. The KCTV crew went down to the KwaZulu-Natal town of Escort where midfielder Sibongiseni ‘Ox’ Mthethwa hosted a tournament in which local teams competed for the big prize. The event is Ox’s contribution towards giving back to the community and helping to uplift young and aspiring footballers.

In another segment, we will see a profile interview of one of new players who joined us at the start of last season, Pule Mmodi. The Free State-born winger talks about his football journey and what it means for him to be here at Amakhosi.

In the supporters segment, we get to see the Vodacom suite experience where our supporters were given VIP treatment during one of our games at the end of the previous season.

As a sporting organisation, wellness is key to us all, not only for our players but for everyone associated with us. We therefore showcase an event where our players and staff participated in Wellness Day, organised in conjunction with our partners, Kaelo. Players and staff underwent health and fitness testing to ensure they perform their duties optimally and improve their lifestyle.
