The Kaizer Chiefs/Arrows game was full of thrills and missed opportunities. One of the biggest upsets was the injury to Captain Itumeleng Khune who suffered a knock in the sixty-third (63) minute. This resulted in the referee adding an approximate eleven (11) minutes to the game in injury time.

Kaizerchiefs.com was updated on the Captain’s injury after the Club returned to its hotel. Khune suffered a moderate concussion; he received some stitches to his lower lip and will undergo a Neurological assessment on his return to Johannesburg.
