Tshabalala added, “When I was told that this event is for ‘Reach for a Dream’, I never hesitated. It is always a pleasure for me to spend time with children. I can only hope that this meeting will give them hope to fight their illness. I would like to thank Reach for a Dream for the initiative and also Kaizer Chiefs for being part of it. I was tired today after a long session...still I could not say no to this, thank you,” said Tshabalala.
Angie Pape, Johannesburg Dreams Co-ordinator was also delighted after the proceedings, “This event will go a long way in inspiring them to fight their illness. I still get calls from parents on how this has changed their children’s life.
We have children who have recovered through this programme. The three boys were all smiles the moment they saw the board, “Welcome to Kaizer Chiefs Territory”. I would like to once more thank Kaizer Chiefs for the role they have played over the years in supporting this initiative,” she said.
