A last minute goal for Kaizer Chiefs earned the Amakhosi a 1-0 win against Dynamos in a hard fought Castle Premiership clash at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Wednesday night.



In the 89th minute Tenashe Nengomasha's shot struck the post and bounced wickedly of Dynamos keeper Aime Kitenge for an own goal.

In the first period Dynamos came out all guns blazing with a fiercely hard fought first 45 minutes.



Chiefs dominated most of the possessiion but failed in the final third were it matters.



The first real chance of the game came in the 20th minute when Amakhosi midfielder Thabo Mooki had his powerful shot saved by Kitenge.



Nine minutes later teammate Kabamba Mussasa was fractionally wide with a diving header



The visitors then came close in the 31st minute when striker Jackie Ledwaba beat the offside trap and was one on one with Chiefs keeper Brian Baloyi who dived at his feet to control the ball.



Chiefs dominated after the break and Kitenge was there to save the visitors blushers from a Mooki 77th minute free kick, which he tipped over the bar.
