Chiefs took the lead in the 90th minute when substitute Siboniso Gaxa broke through on the right before squaring the ball for Lebese to thump it into the back of the net from close range.
"It is a confidence booster and also a reward to the coach for having faith in me and for my hard work," said Lebese.
"The coach always always told us to be composed in the box. I had that in mind when I took both shots," commented Lebese.
What does this win mean to the Team:
"We hope that we have turned the corner and we will start collecting points in the league after this victory," said Lebese.
Defending the league:
"We are looking at defending our trophies and this result shows we are just a step closer to achieve our goals," Lebese.
Lebese grabbed his brace four minutes later as he made a late run into the box to reach a square pass from Tshabalala before beating Williams with a left-footed strike to secure a place in the next round.
"I would like to thank God for his mercy, the Coach (Baxter) for his faith in me and my teammates for their support. I would like to thank the Club for the opportunity and all the Amakhosi supporters,"
Lebese bagged the 'Man of the Match' against Mamelodi Sundowns early in the year in the league game.
