Letlotlo’s brace helps Chiefs beat Ajax

Kaizer Chiefs Reserves beat Ajax Cape Town Reserves 3-0 in the last round of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC). Emmanuel Letlotlo scored twice, while Ovidy Karuru also found the back of the net.



Thanks to his brace, Letlotlo finished the MDC season on nine goals, which is excellent.



The talented striker was also selected as the Man of the Match for a fine all-round performance against the Urban Warriors.

The match between Chiefs and Ajax took place at the Nike Centre in Pimville, Soweto, on Saturday.



Thanks to the win, Amakhosi have passed Ajax on the MDC log and are now in sixth position, having collected 22 points from 15 games. Chiefs won five matches, drew seven and lost three.



The MDC season will officially close this Saturday afternoon with the games Platinum Stars-Mamelodi Sundowns and Free State Stars-Golden Arrows. These matches start at 15:00 and are also played at the Nike Centre.



Golden Arrows, Mamelodi Sundowns and Polokwane City are candidates to win the MultiChoice Disk Challenge this season. Polokwane face Maritzburg United earlier this afternoon.
