Industrious midfielder, Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane was honoured by Site B Branch in Khayelitsha last week as the Most Humble Player.

Letsholonyane born in White City, Soweto is down to earth and has always shown his affection to the fans by making time for them for a chat, take pictures or sign autographs.

“The fans travel the length and breadth of the county to support us and it is only fair that we as players make time for them,” he told kaizerchiefs.com

“I would like to thank Site B Branch for the award. It means a lot to me to be honoured by people as far as Cape Town. The fans have always been fantastic and continue to support us through and through. We really appreciate this as players.

Secretary of Site B Branch explained the choice of the branch in honouring, Reneilwe Letsholonyane; “He is down to earth. I remember the other time just after we had lost against Orlando Pirates back in March this year. He came through to Southgate to thank us for support and asked us to continue rallying behind the team despite the loss.

“As the Branch we then decided to organise something and honour him. I would like to take this opportunity to wish him all the best with the national team during festive. We know that he is not going to have much time for his family due to national commitments. We also hope that he will come back fresh from Africa Cup of Nations and inspire the team to win the league this season,” added Amanda Mayengese.
