“For most of the guys who have been here in the past couple of years the pre-season programme is what we have gone through before in the last two seasons.
So having the same coach has really been good, because we know what he wants from us in terms of delivery on and off the field. It makes our task easier,” explained Letsholonyane.
The Chiefs number six furthermore feels that the fact that they have a group that has been together for a while helps them get a number of the finer details right, which will help their on-field performances.
“When you have a set up where everyone is able to easily get along it helps you to be able to carry out your duties with ease.
We have a strong bond in the squad and a good structure of play in place and the new guys are also able to easily fit into the system.”
With Letsholonyane enjoying himself in the orientation activities of the pre-season camp he has now cast one eye on Saturday’s Vodacom challenge match against Spurs.
Of the Spurs clash he said, “They are a good team, with good strong players. So facing them is a good thing for us.
We have gained experience playing for our national teams so hopefully that as well as our past Vodacom Challenge campaigns will come in handy against Spurs on Saturday. Playing against good opposition like this is good if you go out there to win the game and we want to do that on Saturday.”
