“We did not have a game last weekend but we made up for it by training even harder.

“Preparations for the upcoming game are no different to any team in the league but the Coach has been working on our sharpness this week something that has really helped us. I also personally feel that my fitness level has improved tremendously in the past couple of weeks,” said Stiga who has made 4 appearances scoring a goal for the Club against Maritzburg United.

Platinum Stars currently lying on 8th position in the Absa Premiership log managed to get a point when the two sides met back in September last year and Stanton admitted that they will not be pushovers.

“We will be playing against a tough team in Platinum Stars but we are ready for them. We know how important it is for us to continue winning to increase our chances of winning the league this season.
