“It is once more an opportunity to do it for the supporters,” said Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala at the launch of the annual Macufe Arts and Culture Festival. “We play in every match to win and this will not be treated any differently.”
Amakhosi face Bloemfontein Celtic in the Sparta Macufe Cup encounter, which is part of the week long festivities taking place in the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality.
“The game is played during the Fifa-break to keep us sharp,” adds the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder. “The break comes at a time when we are on a winning streak. We hope to display entertaining soccer and to make the supporters happy.”
Tshabalala promises: “We will beat them 2-0. It's a showpiece, but our supporters expect good results whenever we play, be it a friendly or an official fixture."
