Majoro believes the hardworking ethos of his teammates and their creativeness will make his work easier in the coming campaign.
Answering kaizerchiefs.com questions relating to his acclimatization process at the team and using the Vodacom Challenge games as a marker to see just how well he has fitted into the pattern.
“From the pre-season games against Spurs and Pirates I got a good sense of how the team plays and how to make the best of the way they play.
I played against top teams and I was pleased with the way I performed.
The service I got up front and the chances at goal laid on for me was also good.”
Majoro was also complementary of his teammates and the way in which they labour to win the ball as well as their ability to send in telling balls to the danger zone, and he also lauded the strength of the Amakhosi’s squad.
“I must say that we have a very strong team and a technically sound and experienced one as well, getting firsthand experience of working with the guys was really good and the initial signs are positive and I am sure that I will enjoy playing alongside some very accomplished and competitive players.”
As he marks a month as a Chiefs player after his arrival in late June from Amazulu to the Amakhosi, Majoro is hoping to use the final ten days of pre-season training to be fully ready when the Amakhosi begin the regular season with their opening MTN8 game against BIDVest Wits at the start of next month.
“It is still pre-season and we are fixing a lot of things, as we carry on working my understanding with the other players will get better, I do believe that chances will come my way and I am hopeful that I will convert them.”
