Khotso Benny Malope will make his official Kaizer Chiefs debut against Maritzburg United tonight.

The 23-year-old midfielder comes through the ranks of Amakhosi’s youth development structures. He was on loan to Thanda Royal Zulu last season, helping the side to win the first division title.

Malope replaces the injured the injured George Maluleka.

Otherwise, coach Steve Komphela has decided to start with an unchanged line-up compared to the 2-0 win over Cape Town City and the one-all draw to Bidvest Wits.

It means that Erick Mathoho, who is back from suspension, will start on the bench.

Maritzburg host Chiefs in an Absa Premiership match at a sold-out Harry Gwala Stadium tonight (kick-off is at 19:30).

The clash will be refereed by Daniel Bennett.
