Coach Steve Komphela made three changes compared to the starting XI that beat Cape Town City 1-0 last weekend. Two of the changes, however, were forced due to Teenage Hadebe’s injury and Willard Katsande’s bereavement.
The Zimbabwean defender is struggling with a slight ankle injury and is replaced by Siyabonga Ngezana. The fit again George Maluleka, who didn’t play last week due to a calf strain, replaces Katsande.
Hendrick Ekstein, meanwhile, comes in for Siphelele Ntshangase, who had a difficult game against Cape Town City.
Dumsani Zuma is still out with a groin injury.
There are two former Chiefs players in Celtic’s starting line-up, Tlou Molekwane (right-back) and Lucky Baloyi (central midfield), while Glamour Boy, Lorenzo Gordinho also starts. The central defender is presently on loan at the Bloemfontein-based outfit.
The encounter between Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic will take place at FNB Stadium on Saturday evening (kick-off is at 20:15).
The referee is Eketsang Setloboko.
