"Manchester United were highly impressed," said Youth Development Education Manager Bongani Mngadi. "As such they have extended the invitation to Skapie and this will be a second lifeline for him to exhibit his Africa flair at the heart of Manchester."
According to Mngadi, Nkambule is a genius and has what it takes to make it in the English leagues. "I have no doubt he will make it an it will be a matter of time before they (Man Utd) come up with something formal," enthused Mngadi.
Nkambule impressed the Man United scouts during the Milk Cup in Ireland. He scored one of the best goals of the tournament in the opening match against County Tyrone from a free-kick position. It was a very physical game but the Amakhosi youngsters stood their ground. Subsequently Skappie was invited over for trials and spent two weeks at Manchester.
Mngadi said the player would leave shortly after his final year examinations.
