Mandla “Bullet” Masango has been called up to the national U23 squad that will take on Libya on Sunday, 27 March 2011 at Sinaba Stadium in Daveyton to kick off their London Olympic campaign.
Masango was pleased with the call up, “It is always an honour every time I get a call up to do duty for the nation. It is our objective as a team to have a good start as our dream is to emulate the Class of 2000 by qualifying for the Olympics to be held in London next year. We have good players in the team and some are regulars in their respective clubs in the Premier League,” said Masango.
The camp for the 25-man squad started on Thursday, 17 March 2011.
Kick Off for the game is at 15:00.
