“The spirit in this team remains high and all the guys are looking forward to the next challenge. On the pitch it will be eleven against eleven. The two matches are also important for our preparations ahead of the inaugural African U23 Championships in Morocco later this month.
CAF is using the championships to determine the three countries to represent the continent at the 2012 Olympics.
“It is our ultimate goal to go to London in 2012. This means then we have to be prepared both from mental and physical point of view,” said Masango who was part of the U20 squad that played in the World Cup back in 2009.
On the injury that kept him out of the team, Masango said; “I have completely recovered from the ankle injury and have been training fulltime with other guys at the Village. I should be ready to play this coming weekend.
