Mandla Masango will not be part of South African Olympic squad to campaign in the All Africa Games to be played in Maputo from 3rd-17th September 2011. Football Manager, Bobby Motaung revealed to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday morning.

Masango has been one of the key players in the U23 set up as they prepare to emulate the Class of 2000 by qualifying for London 2010 Olympics.

“We received a call up letter for Mandla (Masango) but we have decided not to release him due to our tight program in September.

"We have always cooperated with SAFA with regards to the release of players. Mandla was for instance allowed to go to the U23 camp in the middle of our preseason,” said Motaung.
