The Amajita have been drawn in Group F with United Arab Emirates, Honduras and Hungary, “It is a good draw but we cannot take any team lightly,” warned Masango.
“We cannot underestimate any opponents in the World Cup. We need to ensure that we prepare very well for the whole tournament. We did well in Rwanda where we played our normal game and we need to continue from where we left off. Our aim in Egypt is to reach the finals,” he added.
Amajita no. 1, Thela Ngobeni jokingly told kaizerchiefs.com that he was expecting Brazil, “It would have been nice to draw Brazil or Italy,” he said with a smile."
“I welcome the draw and I agree with Mandla (Masango) we have to take our opponents very serious. It is important that we do well in Egypt not only for us but for the country,” he concluded.
The U20 World Cup will be played in Egypt in September later this year.
