Tefu Mashamaite has been one of the shining players this season and was rewarded by the Club when he was offered a two year deal that will keep him at Naturena until June 2015.

The towering defender, who joined the Glamour Boys from Students (Bidvest Wits) in June 2011, has won hearts of Amakhosi faithful for his performances despite facing strong competition in the centre back position.

He has formed a solid partnership with Eric Mathoho and was even better playing in the three men defence with ‘Tower’ and Morgan ‘MG’ Gould.

“I am delighted to have signed an extension with the Club. I have enjoyed every minute since my arrival here at Naturena. I can only thank the Club for the faith they have shown in me and hope to repay it on the pitch,” said ‘Masha’ speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Wednesday.

Mashamaite added that it is still his dream to win trophies with the Club; “I remember I said it in my first interview that I am here to win trophies. I believe that we can achieve this as the team.

We have been working, and continue working hard, to achieve our objectives this season,” said the player wearing the jersey no. 4 made famous by legend and founding member of the Club, Jackie ‘Asinamali’ Masike.

Mashamaite has made 43 appearances for the Club since joining from Bidvest Wits.
